Rev. James Austin Williams HENDERSONVILLE, SC - Reverend James Austin Williams 91, of Hendersonville, SC died Wednesday, November 30, 2016, at Ralph H. Johnson, VAMC in Charleston, SC. Former WW2 Army Veteran and retired Pastor of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Fort Motte, SC. Funeral services will be held 11 am Saturday, December 10, 2016, at Charity Missionary Baptist Church (1544 East Montague Avenue, North Charleston, SC, 29405) The body will repose at the church from 10 am until time of service. Burial will follow in the Grover Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery (8492 Highway 17 A, Hendersonville, SC). Allen Funeral Home of Ridgeland in charge of arrangements. I met Mr.J a couple of years ago, he was a character. I saw him at the nursing home about 2 weeks before he went into the hospital. He acted like he knew who I was, it was good to see him, it was a joyful visit. My prayers goes out to the family. Be strong, his works are done.
