To the Washington Family...my deepest sympathies for your loss of such a handsome young man...my heart and prayers are with you today and always.
"God, I know you gave your precious Son
To give us life with You.
But I didn’t want my son to leave,
Cause he was precious too.
We all are precious in your eyes
And all to you return.
I know my son will not come back,
And I still have much to learn.
Our time on earth is for learning,
And when our lessons are through,
Our spirit chooses the time we leave,
And we come back to you.
My precious son is with you,
And there will be a day,
That I too will leave this earthly place,
And you will light my way.
I know your arms will be open,
And I will have a smile,
To see my God and precious son,
I will then become Your child."...

Be Still

Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.

Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.

If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.

At this time of sorrow
may these truths sustain you..
...your loved one will always be
as close as a memory
and the God of all comfort
is always as close as a prayer.

It will be the little things
that you will remember
the quiet moments, the smiles,
the laughter
And although it may
seem hard right now,
it will be the memory
of these little things
that help to push away the pain
and bring the smiles back again

You are in our hearts and prayers. In your time of sorrow, please find comfort and strength in God’s love. He is with you now, as he has been always. The Lord has made you a great man, fine father, and spiritually uplifting co-worker. You have always been a beacon of light when times were dim around here. Please know we are here for you and your family. Please let us know what we can do to help. There must be something we can do to see that great smile of yours…fishing, maybe? Bo will be home in July, from his tour in Afghanistan, and he would love to take you out on the boat. Guys fishing or family Boating…we do it all; just give us a call.
With God’s speed,
The Owens’

Dear Family,
My heart breaks for you and I know that nothing I could say or do will help. However, God's word will help. When I need comfort, I turn to Psalm 23. Those words have always helped and I hope in time you will be able to read Psalm 23 and the words will comfort you.
God bless you,
Darlene & Mike Powell

Always remember that God will never put more on you than you can bare. God saw that he was missing an angel from Heaven and called him back home. My prayers are always with you all. If there is anything that I can do for and of you don't hesitate to call. Keep looking up to God for from Him is where your help and strenght comes from. May God hold you all closer to Him now that ever before.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man."

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.
