Jacqueline Waygood Summerville - Jacqueline Breeding Waygood, 86, of Summerville, SC, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 14, 2022. A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2022, at 2 o'clock at Summerville Cemetery. In Jacqueline's honor and her love for rescuing animals, memorials can be made to Dorchester Paws, 136 Four Paws Ln, Summerville, SC 29483. Flowers are also accepted. Jacqueline was born on October 7, 1935, in Hope, AR. She is the daughter of the late Dillard Breeding and Freida Jones. Jaqueline graduated from Texas Tech University in 1962 with her B.A. degree and a major in English, and also a double minor in French and Spanish. She loved reading, golfing, and rescuing animals especially dogs. Jacqueline leaves behind her son; David Neal Waygood (Lisa) of Seattle, WA; daughter, Jo Elizabeth Hammett (Rick) of Summerville, SC; grandchildren, Laura Lynn Waygood-Temple (Will) of Huntsville, AL, Evan James Waygood (Sami) of Bremerton, WA; great-grandchild, Lydia Duke Temple of Huntsville, AL. She is predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Donald Clifford Waygood.
