Jennifer for Charlotte Anderson and the Doyles:
We think about Uncle Jack and talk about him often!! Just this week, we were remembering how when Tommy and I would go fishing with Uncle Jack when we were younger, his boat was SO BIG!! Haha. Then I said, "With Uncle Jack, everything was larger than life for us! He always showed us a great time when we were with him, and Aunt Melinda inspired us with how she made everything lovely and beautiful...what wonderful memories. Big love to all of you, Anderson family. John 16:33 - 17:4

Walking into the presence of Uncle Jack lifted your spirits no matter the reason or location. He made you feel like you were the only person in the room, except to introduce his rock Aunt Melinda. His family, friends and faith was his breath. So many memories that will never leave my soul. God bless his family in this time of need. Love Richard Trenaman

Dear Melinda, Stephanie, Margaret, Melinda, Melody, Scott, Reid, all the spouses, grandkids and everyone - I am so sad that I cannot be with you all today. We’ve shared so much in life and y’all have ALWAYS been there when Reid , Charlie, Dad, and Mom died. It really hurts that I can’t be with you now.
Jack was such a large loving man. I have so many many memories growing up only a mile away from ya’ll. Your home was filled love and laughter chaos and fun times. It was always fine with Jack and you Melinda. Y’all always made ALL of us feel truly special. And there were ALOT of us. It always seemed that Jack could fix anything. When he said, it’ll all be okay- you knew it would be. The Christmas’ at your house were the best!!! So many great parties, but Christmas!? Melinda would have the house so warm and the special Christmas tree breathtaking. The food she would fix would be fit for royalty And that’s the way we felt at your house. Christmas was not about presents- it was about family and being together.
Jack and Melinda helped my Mom by paying for my wedding reception, yes with six Kids of their own!!!! And there was so much more!! They loved their kids like no others, but the love they spread in this family and to friends and to all was a life to be celebrated for sure. Jack and Melinda would do anything and go out of their way for all of us. I’ve never known anybody like this family. Always smiles, funny stories, very humble. All taught by an amazing amazing man and his wife. I know he is with God and God is proud of his servant. We sure send our love and thanks to you, my dear Uncle Jack! Say hi to Mom, Dad, Reid and Charlie and all my sweet family! Your niece, PattyHight Johnson

Dear Aunt Melinda and Family,
You have my deepest condolences. The loss of Uncle Jack runs deep for all of us, his extended family, but cant compare to what you all must be feeling. I know what a wonderful man Uncle Jack was and I know how much he meant to you all. I am sharing in your sadness and pray you all are surrounding each other in Love.
I have so many fond memories of Uncle Jack growing up. The laughter, the fun times together, the fish frys, the pancake breakfasts, the car rides. Aunt Melinda, you and Jack treated me like your own, letting me hang around all the time, even when you had a house full. After we moved to Summerville, you all had planned a trip to Disney World. The whole Anderson crew swung by Summerville, in Uncle Chesters RV, and invited me to go along. Best surprise ever. I was so excited. Yall gave me time to pack and we left right away. It was an awesome vacation for me! Uncle Jack was generous and loving in so many ways. He was the life of the party. He will truly be missed.
I wish I could be there with you today. My deepest sympathy for you all.
Much Love,
Cathy Haas and Family

Our family was so saddened to hear of Jack's passing. My favorite memories of Jack were usually around holidays at his house & duck hunting with Jack, dad & other friends . Jack always had a good time & a smile on his face when surrounded by friends & family. It would be hard to find a kinder soul .
Dad wishes he could be there to tell his good friend goodbye & wanted me to let you know his family are in his thoughts & prayers .

I was truly saddened to read that Jack had passed. What a solid and caring man he was. I can never forget what a good friend he was to my Dad. When my Dad could not get around on his own, Jack took him to ride in the woods and to their favorite hunting and fishing spots. He made my Dad's last years so much better. I also really miss Locklear's great food!

To Jack's Family:
It was so sad to read that Jack had passed away. My memories are through Piggly Wiggly/Greenbax as we had the Northbridge Piggly Wiggly from the beginning until 1993 when we retired and sold back to the Company. JD always thought so much of Jack and said he always treated him good when he called on the store and the promotions they ran with stamps always was a good thing for the store. He says to all of you be very proud to have Jack for your husband, father ,grandfather and especially all of us are proud we could call him our friend.
Take comfort in your wonderful memories and know that others share in your grief and sorrow. Rest in Peace Mr. Jack you will be missed by all of us.

Uncle Jack was truly the epitome of a "good man." I have so many fond memories from my childhood spent at 813 Stiles Dr. He always had time for his kids and the many friends they brought over. It was THE house we all wanted to hang out at. I know Daddy and Uncle Jack are having the ultimate fishing trip together right now. Heaven truly gained a great soul as his earthly family will miss him greatly. Love to Aunt Melinda, Stephanie, Margaret, Melinda, Melody, Scott, and Reid and all those grands. My heart is so heavy thinking of the loss you all are experiencing. Praying for God's comfort and peace. Love to all.
