Irene Suit Obituary

Irene Blois Suit N. Charleston - Irene Blois Suit, 97, of North Charleston, SC, died Thursday, May 3, 2018. Her Funeral Service will be held Saturday, May 5, 2018 in the J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow at Bethany Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday one hour prior to the service. Irene was born July 14, 1920 in Port Jervis, NY, daughter of the late Walter A. Blois and the late Florence Ricker Blois. She was a graduate of Memminger High School and retired from the Naval Weapons Station. She was an active member of Trinity United Bible Church, Eastern Star and Daughters of the Nile. She enjoyed dancing, playing cards, sewing and baking. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Bessie Mae Blois of Summerville, SC, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow C. Suit, daughter, Wanda Suit; sisters: Evelyn B. Pessier, Dorothy Mitchum and Wanda Blois; and her brother, Edward F. Blois.
