Hubert Lee White James Island - Hubert Lee White, 94, of James Island, South Carolina, husband of Jennie "Mickie" Sease White died at home Tuesday, September 19, 2017. His Funeral Service will be held Friday, September 22, 2017 in the Martin Luther Lutheran Church, 1605 Harbor View Road at 2:00 p.m. Interment, Riverview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in J. HENRY STUHR, INC. DOWNTOWN CHAPEL. Hubert was born July 14, 1923 in Manning, South Carolina, son of the late Hubert Lee White and Frances Ridgeway White. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II at The Battle of The Bulge. Hubert later retired as a Parts Manager from Jones Ford. He was a member of Martin Luther Lutheran Church. Hubert is survived by his wife of 63 years, Mickie; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two sisters: Mary W. Boyken and Elise White.
