Howard Peeples Obituary

PEEPLES, Howard EARLY BRANCH, SC - Mr. Howard Rodell Peeples, 65, of Early Branch died Monday, December 26, 2005 in the Memorial Medical Center in Savannah. Born October 23, 1940 in Hampton County, he was the son of the late William Rodell Peeples and Lillian Peeples. He had retired as a heavy equipment operator with the Jasper County Public Works Department and was a member of the Sand Hill Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Elaine Ginn Cooler of the home; one son, Howard Van Peeples of Ridgeland; one daughter, Janet Miller of Los Angeles, CA; two step-sons, Dale Cooler of Hardeville, SC and Joseph Barney Turner of West Virginia; two step-daughters, Cindy Meador and Patty Rodeffer both of Hardeville, SC. There are eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and four step-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 3 p.m. in the Sand Hill Baptist Church with burial following in the Sand Hill Cemetery, directed by PEEPLES-RHODEN FUNERAL HOME. Friends may call at Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home, 300 Mulberry Street, Hampton, SC 29924 on Wednesday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. and until 2 p.m. on Thursday, when the casket will be placed in the church prior to services.
