RICHARDSON, Herbert The relatives and friends of Mr. Herbert Gerald Richardson of Miami, FL, formerly of Davidson Road, Ravenel, S.C. Son of the late Ms. Dorothy Mae Richardson and Dea. Herbert Young Sr. (Lauretta) those of his sisters and brothers Ms. Annette Gibbs of Elizabeth, NJ, Mr. Terry Richardson (Maxine) of Johns Island , SC, Mrs. Peggy Moreno (Hector), Mrs. Martha Smalls (Clifford), both of North Charleston, SC, Ms. Delmonica Young, Ms. Hollena Wright, Mr. Herbert Young Jr. (Verlinda), Ms. Great young, Ms. Dannell Young, Mrs. Herbnetta Washington (John), Ms. Tamashay Young all of Ravenel, SC, Mr. Earl Aiken of Augusta, Ga., Ms. Ann Aiken and Mr. Nolan Smalls (Martha) both of Charleston, S.C. Those of his aunts and uncle, Mrs. Loretta Haynes of Ridgeville, S.C. Mr. Louis Crosby (Lenora) and Ms. Deverne Ulmer both of North Charleston, SC, are invited to attend his funeral services on Thursday, January 18, 2007, 12 noon at Nazarene Baptist Church, 4393 Savannah Hwy., Ravenel, SC. Rev. Wilfred, Waring, Pastor and Eulogist. Rev. Henry L. Young. Interment Lowndes Cemetery, Davidson Road, Ravenel, SC. Visitation on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Dorothy's Chapel, Hollywood, S.C. Behold! I tell you a mystery. We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed. For this perishable body must put on the imperishable, and this mortal body must put on immortality. When the perishable puts on the imperishable, and the mortal puts on immortality, “Death is swallowed up in victory.” “O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?” The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.
