Uncle Harry has been my 2nd father throughout my life, and I am forever grateful for his guidance, support and love! There are not enough words to express how much he has meant to me from my childhood, throughout my adolescence, and as an adult. From a very young age, when he lived in Los Angeles, CA he inspired me to see him as an entrepreneur and businessman who always demonstrated leadership while exemplifying thoughtful care and compassion for others. He was very charitable and loving and never hesitated to assist someone in need.
As the daughter of his first cousin, Julius R. Cooper, I realize that I am genealogically his second cousin, however I always looked up to him lovingly as my "Uncle Harry". He supported me with sponsorships through his business in my school activities at times during my youthful years as well as a young adult with community activities I chose to participate in which also helped to advertise his business. Uncle Harry also taught me good work ethics as a young adult when I assisted him in his business as his secretary on occasion. Uncle Harry knew how to lead by example and impart words of wisdom every step of the way.
I am so happy to have witnessed his time together with his beloved wife Gail, whom he cherished for over 20 years, and grateful to know that they are now reunited once again.
My memories are many and joyful and I am so grateful to have many photos and videos to help keep Uncle Harry's beautiful and warm spirit alive in my heart and mind forever!
Until I see you again Uncle Harry, rest well with the Lord who is very pleased with you!
Amen,
Ethel (Lehte') Cooper
