Harold Singleton Obituary


SINGLETON, Harold Harold "Yankee" Singleton was born October 27, 1920, to the late Abraham and Mary Singleton on James Island, S.C. He attended the Charleston County public schools on his beloved James Island. The relatives and friends of Mr. Harold Singleton, those of his wife, Ethelyn Singleton, children, Carolyn (Obie) Pinckney, Harold, Jr., Marcus (Deborah) Singleton, Marilyn Singleton McCain, Eddie Singleton, Elvira (Joseph) Richardson, Jacqueline (Curtis) Brown and Augustus Singleton, 13 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, three sisters, Anna Warren, Bernice Pinckney and Grace Brockington, two God children, Josephine Bashful and Woodrow (Alethia) Singleton, nieces, nephews, and other relatives are invited to attend his funeral service Wednesday, February 16, 2005, at 12 noon at St. James Presbyterian Church, USA, 1314 Secessionville Road, James Island, SC.
