Almost 4 years later, and I still find myself missing you and thinking about you often. You were one of the kindest and gentlest people I knew, and it was a joy and an honor being your friend! You left us way too soon, Jerry!

I heard jerry give a speach about 8 years ago. He touched me with his humor and helped free me from shame by sharing similar childhood experiences. I was able to make peace in myself from his willingness to be open . I told my mom a story of his just last night, not realizing that he had passed. That is how powerful a legacy he had left for us. My heart is saddened for your loss. My brother died suddenly last year and so I can tell you that the first year is quite a challenge, but persevere. Joy will come. My sincerest condolences.

Knowing Jerry over ten years offered many unique conversations. In the last few months, I noticed Jerry as a 'great communicator.' He could listen very well and had such outstanding detail in transmitting simple messages. During a recent moment, when trying to transmit a simple message of extreme gratitude, Jerry was nearly in tears. I was thankful for a nudge from Above to go to him and say: "Jerry, I appreciate you." I wish there was time for one more: one more conversation in letting him know what a great communicator he had become in Love & Service to so many. Thank You Jerry :^)

Jerry was a wonderful friend, compassionate listener, and loyal to a fault. Who will ever forget the sound of his laugh? And if he called you "friend," you were blessed. His passing has created a hole that cannot be filled, but the life he lived will always be remembered. We have lost a truly unique human. Prayers for the entire family for peace.

To be absent from the body is to be in the presence of the Lord. Jerry will be greatly missed. I loved to hear him laugh and to make him laugh. Bill's friend,

Jerry was part brother, part dad, part cohort, part spiritual channel. I, too, will miss his laugh, his wave from across the room, his bright (and suspicious) smile, his hugs where he scratched my back. He gave me some of the greatest life and spiritual lessons I've ever known, encouraged me when I wanted to stop and give up, and loved me because of my faults and defects. He taught me about boundaries, making fair restitution, and that I can't save or change anyone. To Jerry's family and fellow Beth Shalom attendees, please know how far his love is felt has travelled and how many lives he has helped.

He was a pebble whose ripples keep expanding in an ever widening circle of love, laughter, and grace.

Gerry was the closest thing I ever had to a brother. I can remember bickering with him over the dining room table at one of the many family dinners. Much love to Barbara, Jeanne, Babbie, Elizabeth, Anna, and their families. I am so glad I got to see him at Barbara's birthday party at his best. That is how I will remember him.
