George Barker Bennett Charleston - The relatives and friends of Mr. George Barker Bennett are invited to attend his Celebration of Life Service 11:00 AM, Wednesday, December 15, 2021, at Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church, 7396 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston, SC. Interment - Venning Cemetery, 1160 Jack Primus Road, Charleston, SC. A public viewing will be held Tuesday, December 14, 2021, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the mortuary. Mr. Bennett is survived by his daughter, Georgeanna Brown (William, Sr.); three grandchildren, Travis Holmes, Jr., TaKeia Brown and William Mitchell, Jr.; a great-grandson, Kevin Evans, III; nine sisters, Ruthie Rock, Estelle Freeman, Anna Fleming, Barbara Williams, Helen Russell, Anna Mae Williams, Josephine Huger, Sarah Lee Mathis and Linda Wigfall; eight brothers, Leroy Chinnis (Vivian), Enoch Williams, Jr., James Williams, John Williams (Geraldine), Willie Williams, Teddy Wigfall, Leroy Wigfall, Jr. and Angus Williams; his beloved friend, Joyce Barker; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, stepchildren, step-grandchildren and friends.
