Just found out about George. So sorry to hear this news. George was my uncle and I know he was a good Christian family man who never forgot to send nice Christmas cards to me and my wife. He always had something nice to say in the cards. I will miss his personal notes. Caroline married a wonderful man. and I know God will bless him.

I have know George for probably all of my life. George's in-laws lived on Folly Beach, and his sister-in-law (Faye) was a friend of mine. I saw George frequently at Blessed Sacrament School when my children attended there. He was quite humorous and joked about the amount of work and the little money to do it. There wasn't much he wouldn't do for one of the Sisters, especially Sister Marilyn. RIP, George. My prayers for the family.

George was a wonderful, witty man, a good, active Catholic and a lifelong friend of my family. George grew up with my mother and we thought of him and his lovely wife Caroline as family. I hold within my heart wonderful memories of times together.
Love, prayers and sympathy to Caroline and his family and friends.
