Gail Weatherford Obituary

I just saw Gail named her child Tuesday Anne with an e. I would probably tell her how sweet to name your child after me. Miss the unsuspected meetings in Mt Pleasant bee stands. Such a sweet. Miss you. Tell my family hello for me.

So sorry to hear of your wife's death. I met her only once at the ghost walk back in October. She was very nice and gracious. Obviously, she was a true Southern lady.

Dear Woody and Family

I will always remember Gail from our PTA years. A tireless volunteer, she brought enthusiasm to every event! I am unable to attend the service, but want you to know I treasured our friendship. She loved her family so very much! May you be strengthened by the love of family and friends. She will always be with you.

We went to school with Gail and her brothers. May God watch over her family at this time. She is in the arms of the angels.

We were raised up in the same neighborhood. Well respected family. Gail was a sweet person. Condolences to the family.

So sorry to hear of Gail's passing. She was my babysitter back in the early 70s. My brother and I always had a blast going to the Stricklands. Several years ago I reconnected with her on FB. We are praying for Woody and the entire family.

I have been remembering our years on Donwood, our homes beside each other, our kids playing, Tuesday being such a sweet child and looking after the younger ones. I can only imagine Gail, Tuesday, and Ryan laughing and sharing stories. Love ya Gail. Sending my love and prayers to Woody, the girls, and their families.

Lauren has loved you since she was a little girl, and will miss your talks forever. Woody you are you so lucky to have had her for so long, although it to me was not long enough. Jana & Jill you were her loves and her light, you know you are loved. Tuesday too was always with her. I agree, it's all in God's time and his hands. To the family of Gail, my deepest condolences. Your wife mom grandma, whatever she was called, was a very sweet and caring person. We both grew up in Hanahan, right down the street from each other on Hawthorne Circle.Even though we were in different grades, I considered her a friend, you could talk to her and Cary on an intelligent conversation. The last time I saw her, I believe was at the fair a number of years back. Her smile was sincere, and we talked like we were next door neighbors. She was a kindred spirit. I hope that time can ease your pain,cause its hard loosing someone

My heart is broken to learn of this loss to the world. Gail was a wonder of energy and light. My thoughts and prayers are with all her family. I'm so very sorry.

I'm not saying goodbye. I'm saying, "I'll see you later." In the meantime, she will be missed.

We knew Gail and Woody and the Weatherford families years ago from church. She was always caring, a truly Proverbs 31 wife, mother and friend. The last time I saw Gail was in Buddy's Barbershop when her daughter was getting her hair styled for the prom that night. Sending love to Woody and the famly and asking God to cover you with his everlasting Peace and Comfort.

We are praying for you all. Gail was always smiling and a blessing to know. She will be greatly missed. Love and prayers.

Gail was always a light for Jesus, and had a smile on her face! She will be missed, but we rejoice that she is home with her Lord and Savior. The loved ones that have gone before her are welcoming her with open arms! Praying for God's presence, peace, and comfort to surround family and friends as we grieve her loss. The memories of her will always be with us. Let us carry on her legacy well!

Outgoing, hard-working, caring, and fun-loving, Gail exemplified the spirit of PTA. She was always ready to help children, parents, and teachers. She enthusiastically organized activities. Her sense of joy and good humor motivated others to get involved. Her life experiences and empathy enabled her to reach out to the suffering and grieving. May we all be inspired by her example.

I have many memories of our time together re-enacting. Hopefully she will see our friend Vickie. They can swap stories of all the fun we use to have at our campsites & our teas at Boone Hall. God love ya Gail, you will be missed.
