Dear Bro. Gabe,
When I saw you on Saturday afternoon and walked around making jokes, shaking everyone's hands, I never thought this would have been my last physical contact with you. I believe God was getting you ready to enter His Heavenly Home. Gabe has always been a cool soft spoken person from the time I met him. Sleep on and take your rest. Juanita B. Smalls

I was not a friend of Gabe as previously posted but a relative. As a child Gabe and his siblings and I spent many days playing and fighting on what was known as the Bowen's Hill. Anyone who went up that hill had to fight to get down that hill. Whenever I saw him he use to remind me of those times. Remembering you with find memories.

Outstanding Christian and brother-in-law! Gabe was a quiet, jovial, generous man. He loved family and friends, and will be sorely missed. While a shock to us who are still in our pilgrimage, we know that his earthly work was done! Therefore, Our Father called him to his reward. We love you, Gabe!

God saw you getting tired
and a cure was not to be;
So He put his arms around you
and whispered,
"Come with Me".
with tearful eyes we watched you suffer
and saw you fade away.
Although we love you dearly
we could not make u stay.
A GOLDEN HEART stopped beating
hard working hands at rest,
God broke our hearts to prove to us
He only takes the best!
