To my family:

Grandmama, aunts, uncles, and cousins. I am still in awe at reading and hearing all the wonderful remarks about grandpapa, I know how I view him and love him but to see he meant so much to so many makes me smile. A smile that his legacy is great among us. A smile to think that not only myself but of you who to possess some of the wonderful character of gentleness, kindness, and faithfullness like my wonderful grandpapa. Now that it has rained it's time for us to blossom and spread some of the qualities that endeared him to us to someone else. We need to SPEAK LIFE INTO OTHERS. i truly, truly, love you all and apologize for being away (out of contact) NO MORE! because without family you aren't totally complete.

To Friends of the family:

Thank you for your support, kindness, and heartfelt words. THANK YOU

To Deborah,Litte John, Tristian and the entire Wilkinson Family,

I am very sorry to hear about your loss. I am so glad that I had the opportunity to meet Mr. Wilkinson. He is a kind and gentle man. I have always enjoyed visiting Charleston, SC and staying at your home. You all always opened up your home to me and treated me like one of the family. I enjoyed it so much, it was like a mini-vacation for me.
Just know that Mr. Wilkinson is only sleeping until Jesus Christ comes back and we (those in Christ) will be co rulers with Jesus on earth . We will see him again.
Paul said it best to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. That means no more suffering, no more pain.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all. I miss you all, I love you all and May God comfort and keep you always. I hope to see you all again. I know that Deborah has accomplished so much in life because of having good parents that have stood behind her and laid the foundation for her.

God Bless you all,

Sylvia Mascoe

There are no words to express the sorrow I am feeling right now. But if there is one thing I do know, Uncle Frank is wearing his crown and he has earned his rightful place in the kingdom of heaven. Mrs. Wilkinson "Aunt Mut", God gave you a blessed husband for many years. Uncle Frank may gone in body but lives on in spirit so look to your heart and you will see him ALWAYS! To Linda, my BEST and DEAREST FRIEND, as well as Carolyn, "FRANK JR", Sandra, Gary, Deb, Branda, Mike, Chip, Robert Jr, and Sharmon. Uncle Frank was your daddy but he was also a Father of the ROSEMONT COMMUNITY. He welcomed me, Nessa, Hester, NeNe, Marvette, "PETER",Anthony Ward,Robbie LeVern,Zack,Bing, and Tony Bell,THE SCHOOL GROUND CREW,JUST TO NAME A FEW,into your home, a home away from our own home, treated us just like we were all his kids too. I thank God for placing this gentle giant in our lives. He will be sadly missed but fondly remembered. Take care my extended family, I won't be with you on Friday but I will be home soon! LOVE ALWAYS...

To the Wilkinson Family
May it comfort you to know that I too, understand the loss you bear and sympathize with you. I've know Debra for years and just meeting the family I witnessed the love. I hope it lightens your burden to know that you all are blessed to be apart of a Great Man With Such A Well-Lived Life. I can stay that because Debra has always said how she loved the encouragement and support her parents give to the family. A great father that's loving to her Mother and his childrens. He had an ear to listen, a hand to hold, a heart to share. Debra's attributes speaks from his legacy because of her character with her Raleigh Family and Friends.
Which leaves me to say that HIS LEGACY OF LOVE WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN.

To the Wilkinson family, Uncle Frank was put on earth for a purpose and he fulfilled the assignment that God assigned him to do. God allowed him to select a beautiful wife and gave him beautiful children. Then he assigned him a day to enter into enternal life. That day came and we became sadden but happy. God took Uncle Frank to a place that we all pray that we can enter one day. Remember all the kind words that he shared and remember the gentle spirit that he had. Remember the good times and the laughter, uncle Frank had a way of putting a smile on your face. Linda remember that God know our hearts, just know that God is your comforter and your healer. To my extended family this always help through PSALM 121. God took Uncle Frank to place where there is no more crying, no more pain and no more suffering. Uncle Frank took his wings and flew into the kingdom of Heaven.

To the Wilkinson family, or shall I say our extended family. During times like this I am reminded of something that was said to me that I'd like to share with you. "Birds sing after a storm why don't we." These words reminded me of the beautiful gifts that was shared and taught to me by our departed love ones as well as the lesson and memories we carry in the days to come. Also take the time to see the gift of family and friends present, this home going brings. This is a gift that we sometimes don’t realize that is also given to us to embrace like we did them. My deepest sympathy to you all and if there is anything we can do for you please don't hesitate to call or e-mail.

OUR HERO

It must have been cold there in Our shadows,
To never have sunlight on Your face.
You were content to let Us shine that's Your way,
You always walked a step behind.

So We were the ones with all the glory,
While You were the one with all the strain.
A beautiful face with such a big name,
A beautiful smile to hide the pain.
"Did You ever know that You're Our hero! And everything We would like to be. If We could fly higher than an eagle, for You are the wind beneath Our wings."

It might have appeared to go unnoticed,
But We've got it all here in Our hearts.
We want You to know We know the truth, of course We know it,
We would be nothing without You!
"Fly, Fly, Fly high to the skies
Finally to Heaven, by and by
Thank You! Thank You!
Thank God for You, the wind
Beneath Our Wings!

Loving and Missing You Always,
Your Daughter,
