Frank Olender Obituary

Frank Olender MT. PLEASANT - Frank Olender of Mount Pleasant, SC, and formally of Southampton, NY, departed this world on March 18, 2024, at the age of 67. A tough Polak through and through, Frank's journey was marked by perseverance and strength. He earned his accounting degree at C.W. Post and dedicated over 35 years of his life to serving as a financial advisor at Wells Fargo, earning him the title of First Vice President. His no-nonsense approach and unwavering commitment earned him respect and admiration from all who crossed his path. Despite his gruff exterior, Frank's heart was as big as they come. To his family, he was affectionately known as "Cranky Uncle Franky," a moniker that captured his unique blend of tough love and unwavering loyalty. He may have teased relentlessly, but his love for his family knew no bounds. Tennis was Frank's true passion. He approached the game with the same tenacity and grit that defined every aspect of his life. Those closest to him knew how much he loved the sport. Frank's departure leaves a void that cannot be filled. His sharp wit, hearty laughter, and one-of-a-kind personality will be sorely missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Mr. Olender is predeceased by his parents Jozef & Zofia Olender; his brother, Stanley Olender; and sister, Sophie Olender. He is survived by his daughter, Jacqueline Olender Schulze; and his two sons, Brandon and Devon Olender; his sister, Manya Olender Murphy; and two brothers, Tony and Henry Olender; and nine nieces and nephews; and eleven great-nieces and nephews. Funeral arrangements will be announced at a later date, as we gather to celebrate the life of a man who left an indelible mark on all who knew him.

I used to work for Frank back in the late 1980s at Pru-Bache while I was an undergrad. Definitely learned a thing or two from him. RIP, Frank.

Frank and I lived together with our girlfriends and also worked together in our early twenties. I remember Frank as a good friend. A serious guy but we had a lot of fun together. He worked hard and also went to school at the same time. Wish I was able to see him later in life. Farewell Frank. Hope to meet again. Joe
