Today is my son's birthday. He was born on Good Friday. He told me my son was one of the last children he would be delivering. He delivered my two daughters and son. He was a wonderful man. Thought of him today because of my son.

Dr Boensch was the Dr who told me I was pregnant and it was a girl!! He was correct! We had 2 sons 10 and 11. He also said that he would take her home if we didn“t want her as he had 5 sons. He was my Dr for several years!! He was so caring! I know that he is missed by his family.

Dr. Boensch was a wonderful person and a great physician with a fabulous sense of humor. He delivered my youngest daughter in Aug. 1978 while making rounds at the hospital and no other one of my "team" was available. He almost literally rolled up his shirtsleeves and helped me through the final moments of natural childbirth. What a guy! When he retired I felt like I lost a trusted friend.

My deepest sympathy
to Mrs. Boensch and all her family. Dr. Boensch was my Ob/Gyn from 1970 until he retired. He delivered my twin boys in 1971.If that wasn't enough, He had to deal with them weighing 13 lbs and 5ozs, with the first born naturally and the second by c-section.Could never have done it without him. He was the best.
God bless you all.

Never could have done it without him. Amen to all the great things everyone else said.God bless.

My heartfelt sympathy to the family of Dr. Frank Boensch IV. Dr. Boensch was my ob/gyn doctor until he retired. I loved Dr. Boensch. He delivered my daughter 48 yrs ago and I've never forgotten him. Anytime I pass that building on Bee St, I think about the many hours I spent there. He was the most caring, personable and understanding doctor I've ever known. RIP

So sorry to read this today. Dr. Boensch was a fine man and a dedicated doctor! Dr. Rumble was scheduled to deliver my daughter, but I was late and Dr. Boensch treated me with the utmost care and attention. I later attended church with him at St. Andrew's. He was without a doubt a great blessing in my life!

I am deeply saddened by the death of my old friend Frank Boensch from our days together at USC and the NROTC program. Frank was one of my
dearest pals there and certainly one of the most genuine gentlemen I have ever known. Frank was the real thing then and apparently all of his life based on the many tributes I have read today. My only regret is that we did
not keep in touch as often as I would have liked after school. My sympathy goes out to his wonderful family and many friends.

Our family is deeply saddened by the loss of Dr. Boensch. Dr. Boensch was originally my mom's doctor and delivered me, my sister, and my brother. My mom became very close to Dr. Boensch and he was like a second father to her. I later became a patient of his until he retired. Dr. Boensch remained close to our family with regular phone calls and visits. We loved him greatly and will miss him. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.

The 3 Georgeo sisters are so saddened by Frank's passing. Johnny Georgeo was one of Frank's Moultrie football coaches, and we treasure the kindness Frank always showed our mother through the last years of her life. His Christian values, patriotism, love of Mt. Pleasant, and sense of humor endeared him to all who knew him. May his memory be eternal.

I am saddened to learn of the loss of Dr. Boensch. I was blessed to have him as my ob/gyn for so many years. He helped bring my two beautiful daughters into this world. Without his strong advocacy for his patients, he saved both my baby and my life with an emergency c-section. Nurses were surprised we survived but the credit goes to this amazing man. He came to my rescue many times over the years that I saw him and I will always be eternally grateful to have had the pleasure of knowing him. I was at BE with Jim in class of 81! I am sending prayers, love and hugs that you find peace and comfort in this time of sadness to the entire family!

Dr. Boensch was my father's partner @ Rumble and Boensch 30 Bee Street, Charleston, SC 29403 He was a very close friend to my family. Frank oversaw both of my pregnancies and delivered both of my boys. I am forever grateful for his precious care and especially his encouragement to me in my walk with the Lord. He was a dedicated Christian. He always had a kind word, a smile, and never judged me but gently guided me when I was lost. My deepest sympathy to his beautiful wife Sarah and his five boys.
