Fran and I were good friends at Ashley Hall and I spent many a night in the Maguire household and remember Dr. Maguire's pancakes for the morning crowd. I miss Fran.
The Maguires had a lovely party for me when I got engaged and I have many fond memories of the family, especially when I walk past the enormous Victorian house they lived in on Legare Street.
God Bless you all. My deepest sympathy.

Mrs. Maguire was a big part of my life as a teenager. I always loved to go to her house, especially on Friday for dinner because she always had salmon. She was so elegant and a great lady. She will be missed dearly, as will all the great ones.

Aunt Fran was such a lovely person. She was always so nice to me and Susan . I have especially fond memories of Christmas on Legare Street! I remember I was shy around her because she was so beautiful and elegant. She will be missed by all who knew her.

I was saddened to learn of Frances' passing. She was a cousin of mine, though I do not think we ever met. Her mother, Abby Lofton Moore was the sister of my grandmother, Isabel Lofton Hills. Deepest sympathy to the family.

To lose a parent is a significant loss. I try to imagine all the changes a 90-year-old would have seen, and the personal stories they had to share. I've heard some of the stories from Dad -- Dr. Clement Kent -- who remembers Frances with affection. As children, they were not just cousins, but friends.
May God open His loving arms and embrace Frances's soul. And I pray Frances will be waiting to guide Clement into the hereafter. To Judy, Carter and all the family, may God carry you through this time of loss. Love from Annie Kent Jollymore, Dr. Clement Fisher Kent, and Elizabeth (Betty) Casey Kent.

To my "Carter Maguire" cousins, Please accept my sympathy on Aunt Fran's passing this morning. She was a beautiful and fine lady who raised such nice daughters and sons. My mother sends her sympathy also. Sincerely, Susan Maguire
