Frances Hogarth Obituary

Frances "Nancy" Hogarth JAMES ISLAND - Frances "Nancy" Hogarth passed away peacefully Tuesday morning at Roper Hospital. She was born in Pensacola, FL in 1913 and grew up in Miami. Nancy married Dr. Charles P. Hogarth in 1940. She worked at Florida State University, Gulf Park College and Mississippi University for Women, where she coordinated social, faculty and community events in her role as the college Presidents wife. Nancy is survived by her daughter, Nancy McClanahan; her son, Charles Hogarth; her granddaughter, Amanda Pullen and her husband Jimmy Pullen and two great grandchildren, Connor and Spencer Pullen. The relatives and friends of Frances "Nancy" Hogarth are invited to attend her Graveside Funeral Service at 12:00 PM, Saturday, August 13, 2011 in Brunson Cemetery, Cemetery Road, Brunson, SC 29911. The family will receive friends on Friday, August 12, 2011 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the JAMES A. MCALISTER FUNERAL HOME, 1620 Savannah Hwy. Charleston, SC 29407. (843) 766-1365.
