Forrest Elmer Magee FRONT ROYAL, VA - Forrest Elmer Magee, 91, of Front Royal, VA, formerly of Charleston, SC, died on Thursday, December 1, 2016. A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 9, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Maddox Funeral Home, Front Royal, VA. Inurnment at Arlington National Cemetery will be held at a later date. Mr. Magee was born May 1, 1925 in Hollansburg, Ohio, son of the late Clemen Edgar Magee and Lena Francis Bell Magee. He was a U.S. Navy veteran serving during WWII. He retired as a machinist from the Navy Yard in Charleston, SC. Mr. Magee was a Mason and longtime member of Unity Lodge #234 in Summerville, SC and was a former member of the Elks Lodge. He was an accomplished bowler and loved fishing and being with family and friends. He was preceded in death by his first wife Lois G. West and his second wife Pearl Owens Magee. Surviving are four children, Lena Frances Hubbard of Bonneau, SC, Mabel Whitley (Richard) of Front Royal, VA, Forrest Eugene Magee of Hamlet, NC, and Dorothy Ellen Magee of Bonneau , SC; eleven grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
