Florence Green WANDO, SC - The family and friends of Florence Green, retired nurse from the VA Medical Center, 88, of Wando, SC, are invited to attend her home-going service on Thursday March 9, 2023, at 11:00 AM at New Greater St. John AME Church, SC. SUBURBAN FUNERAL HOME, 2336 Meeting St. Rd., North Charleston, SC, in charge of arrangements. Leroy Rivers - Manager and Rev. Michael Alston - Asst. Manager. PH (843) 744-8761. There will be a Wake on Wednesday from 6-8 PM at the Church. The most precious memories of Ms. Green will resound in the life of her beloved son; Rev. Michael (Jacqueline) Alston; grandchildren, Michael (Akilah) Burns, Irvin (Deserae) Alston, Patrick and Michelle Alston; nine great-grandchildren; siblings, Frank Green Jr., Michael Green and Diane Wineglass; and one aunt, Josephine Alston.
