Flora Owens Obituary
Flora dedicated much of her life to her work, serving as a seamstress at St. Stephen Knitwear and Wellington Sewing Centre. She also worked as a sales associate at Walmart, where she was known for her friendly spirit. A woman of faith, Flora was a devoted Baptist.
In her leisure time, Flora found joy in cross stitching and tending to her flower garden, nurturing her cherished plants. Her love for travel took her across the United States, with a special fondness for the beach and ocean. Flora was an enthusiastic NASCAR fan, cheering on her favorite drivers-Dale Earnhardt, Dale Earnhardt Jr., and Denny Hamlin-at races throughout the years. Music was another passion, and she delighted in attending concerts and spending time with friends and family, always enjoying the company of others. Flora was also a devoted animal lover, especially to her cats, but her greatest love was for her family.
Flora is survived by her daughter, Randi Kay Everett, and her husband Mike of Moncks Corner; her son, Michael David Passarello of Moncks Corner; her father and step-mother, Barbara Owens of Orlando, FL; her former husband, David Passarello of Moncks Corner; three sisters, Karen Dangerfield of Tennessee, Ginnie Mitchell and her husband Reese of Macedonia, and Jill Eastman of Florida; a brother, Jack Owens of Florida; her granddaughter, Stella Everett; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her Mom, Roberta Edith Montgomery Chavis, Daddy, Thomas David Chavis, and her brother, Walter David "Dickie" Owens.
Family and friends are invited to gather and share memories on Saturday, January 3, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Dial-Murray Funeral Home in Moncks Corner.
Flora's warmth, generosity, and zest for life touched all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
