Evalene Guindon LADSON - Evalene Charles Guindon entered into eternal rest in the early morning hours of July 12, 2014. Evalene Charles Guindon widow of Clarence Joseph Guindon, Resident of Ladson, South Carolina. The Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation from 11:00 to 12:00 and graveside service Tuesday July 15 , 2014 at 12:00p at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home on Rivers Avenue. Evalene was born April 15, 1931 in Pikeville, Kentucky to the late Miles and Mary Elizabeth Charles. She briefly worked in the banking before meeting our dad through his sister Elaine Guindon and their love began. Evalene then became a homemaker and raised five children. Evalene enjoyed raising her family, and loved to play golf. Survivors include her son Chris Guindon of Roseville, Michigan, and her daughters Gail Burn and Dawn Barr of Summerville, South Carolina. She was preceded in death by her husband Clarence Joseph Guindon, and her two sons, Steve and Marc Guindon. She also has two sisters, Pauline Bishop Mitchum and Magdalene Plouff, and three brothers Grover, Dover and Elster Charles. Evalene was blessed with several grandchildren and great grand children, whom she loved each in her own way. She did have a favorite and you know who you are.
