It saddened me deeply to learn of the passing of one of my dearest friends. I could write a book about the continued good times we shared since 1969. The bowling, fishing and just the special moments we shared intimate conversations.
I don't think of Gene as gone away, his journey has just begun. It will be the little things, the quiet moments, the smiles, the laughter we will all remember about Gene. And although it seems hard right now, it will be the memories of these little things that help push away the pain and bring the smiles back again.
To Kay, Terry, Cheryl, Butch and Mike may the beauty live on in your memories and bring you peace.
