I was a patient of Dr. Bluestein years ago. I was asked who performed my surgery and I could not stop bragging about her and her staff. I just found out about her passing as I tried to refer a friend to her. She was truly amazing and very personable. May her soul rest in peace and may her family find comfort in the memories she left.

Nicky, I didn't think I was going to make it to Ettaleah''s funeral because 9:30 that morning was one of our holy days of obligation, All Souls Day mass. But I decided to go even if I was late. I am so glad I did. I got to hear your son celebrate his mom's life, capturing her essense. Wow, what a gal!

We were patients of Dr. Bluestein and it's with great sadness that we just learned of her passing. We always appreciated not only her professionalism, but also her personal warmth and her artistic talent, we admired her paintings that were hung in the office on Henry Tecklenburg Drive. We know that she touched many peoples' lives as she did ours. We send our condolences to her family and friends. John Haskell and Jon Shipp

Ettaleah was so amazing. She was a master multi-tasker. I remember one time we were talking on the phone and she was making breakfast for her family, studying for a medical school exam and trying to convince me to buy an Albert Nipon dress all at the same time. The breakfast was delicious, she got an A on the exam and she closed the sale.

We met in school when we were 12 and have been close friends ever since. She was whip smart, very funny and gave great advice. I will miss her terribly.

Sending our deepest sympathy to Nicky and the entire Bluestein family. Dr. Bluestein was a remarkably interesting woman, it was a privilege to have known her.

October 31, 2019

I am saddened to lose such a kind and caring friend. Our years go back to when we were 15 and never once on my trips home
has she not made time to see me , even when she was in med school and residency.
So caring that once we were at dinner and she received a call from a patient who could not find her contact in her eye. We left, opened her office to take care of the situation and the patient was so grateful. She cared about her patients as she did her friends, and especially her family. Ettaleah was one of a kind---brilliant, fun to be around and loyal.
Greg and I will miss her and pray for comfort at this difficult time for Nicky, Scott, Ryan, Brett and their families and also to Judy and Billy and their family.

What a beautiful caring soul! I was a patient of hers for almost 20 years and one of her last patients to be seen the day she officially closed her office in December. My thoughts and prayers are with her family. Dr. B was an amazing boss. She always made me laugh and definitely kept me on my toes. I miss working for her. Her quirky way of doing things. I miss seeing her sitting patiently in the halls of our office for her turn to go into the exam rooms. Or the many times she would sit in her office in the dark, and when I would come in and turn on the lights, she would say..."oh now that's better"...lol. She was definitely "one of a kind."
I will defiantly miss her.
Rest in Peace Dr. B <3
