To The Family of Ervin Michael "Bunno" Lessington
I extend my heartfelt condolences to the family of Ervin Michael Lessington on his passing. There is no doubt in my mind that his likable personality along with his tremendous and historic high school basketball achievements gave the greater Charleston community, and especially to those that identified with Burke High School, a greater sense of pride at a time when we needed it the most. I will surely miss my cut-buddy, not so much for his legendary basketball performances; but because he was a good friend of mine. R.I.P. Bunno.

My sincere condolences to the Lessington family during this time of great loss and bereavement. May God grant you peace, comfort and strength in the days ahead. God made only one Bunno. His spirit will always be with us. I remember those days growing up on Park St. and playing basketball on Mitchell Park with Bunno. During his years at Burke High School he was the man. Such a gifted basketball player who was ahead of his time. May you rest in eternal peace, my brother.
