Ernest Louis Stelling, Jr. CHARLESTON - Entered into eternal rest on the afternoon of May 20, 2012, Ernest Louis Stelling, Jr., husband of Jacqueline "Jackie" Fettue Stelling. Residence, Charleston, SC. The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Louis Stelling, Jr. are invited to attend the funeral service of the former, Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL. The family will receive friends Tuesday at Stuhr's Downtown Chapel between 5:00 and 7:00 p.m. A private burial will be held in Bethany Cemetery. Mr. Stelling was born July 15, 1951 in Charleston, SC, the son of Ernest Louis Stelling, Sr. and Jonnie O. Stelling "Big Moma". He received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Clemson University in 1973, his Master of Engineering from The University of South Carolina in 1977 and became a Certified Engineer in 1979, and his Master of Business Administration from The Citadel in 1985. He is survived by his wife of Charleston, SC; two daughters: Renee S. Martin (Michael) and Mindy S. Christo (Brian) all of Charleston, SC; his Mother: Jonnie O. Stelling of Valrico, FL; two sisters: Angela S. "Trudie" Easterby (Tommy) of Prosperity, SC and Phyllis S. Matthews (George) of Macon, GA; one brother: Thomas E. Stelling (Debbie) of Charleston, SC; 4 grandchildren: Michael C. Martin, Jr., Brandon A. Martin, Ashlyn S. Martin and Ivy E. Christo; and many nieces and nephews.
