Nana, as she was known by, was the grandmother to probably thousands of kids that called Park Circle home....I distinctively remember hundreds of times a child would come to the snack bar but didn't have enough money but nana would give them their treat and go to her purse and pay for it. I personally didn't have a grandmother so being raised with my LIFE LONG SISTER AND FRIEND Michelle Kinard we all enjoyed sharing nana. The one trait I'll never forget about this sweet woman was her big heart and her spunk! Lol I love she told you how it is period. My heart is broken but I know she is reunited with her husband and many family and friends. Love you Nana.....

So very sad to hear North Charleston and all of the Kinard family have lost such a beloved member of the community. When anyone raised in North Charleston thinks back to their childhood it is Mrs. Kinard we have to thank.
Please know the Bartlett children are thinking about all of you and we are so very sorry we will not be able to join you as you celebrate Mrs. Kinard's life. We are in route to WVA for our family reunion.
Please know you all are in our thoughts and prayers. Thanks for sharing your precious mother with all of Nochas.

My deepest sympathy to this family. I have know this family for so many years and Ms. Kinard was always an active supporter in by up bringing at Park Circle. You can't think about Park Circle and not remember all the times she was there working or supporting her family. RIP

I am so sorry to hear of Tabby's passing. She was such a nice lady! (I worked for Allen and Tabby when they ran Tripp's Chicken on Spruill Avenue) I haven't seen her in many years, but have often thought of her and remember her fondly.
Prayers for the Kinard family.
