Elizabeth Casterline Obituary

Elizabeth A. “Beth” Casterline, 98, of Idetown, passed away Monday, July 6, 2009, at Lakeside Nursing Center, Harveys Lake, where she had been a resident for six years.
Born in Edwardsville, August 17, 1910, she was a daughter of the late Daniel and Eliza Jane Brown Eustice. She was a graduate of Edwardsville High School, Class of 1929. Beth was a member of the Lehman-Idetown United Methodist Church and former member of the Jonathon R. Davis Fire Company Auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by husband William A., to whom she was married to for 67 years, prior to his death in 2002; brothers John Zimmerman, Thomas and Daniel Eustice; sisters Dorothy Coburn and Leah Crispell; nephew Thomas Coburn, whom she raised; grandson William G. Casterline Jr.; great-granddaughter Victoria Elizabeth Wilson.
Surviving are daughter Jeanne Barrall, Lehman Township; son William G. “Butch” and wife, Dennise, Harveys Lake; grandchildren Sandra Davis, Catawissa; James Barrall, Harveys Lake; William Barrall, Lehman Township; Robin Zacharias, Jodi Wilson and Amy Long, all of Harveys Lake; 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be Thursday at 11 a.m. from the Richard H. Disque Funeral Home Inc., 672 Memorial Highway, Dallas, with the Rev. W. James Pall officiating. Interment will be in Chapel Lawn Memorial Park, Dallas. Friends may call Wednesday at the funeral home, from 6 to 9 p.m.
Memorial donations may be made to the Lehman-Idetown United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 1, Lehman, PA 18627, or Resident Fund Lakeside Nursing Center, RR 4, Box 357, Dallas, PA 18612.
