Eileen Potts Goose Creek - Eileen 'Mickey' Potts, 83, of Goose Creek, passed away to join her husband in eternity on Wednesday, November 1, 2017; All Saints Day. Born in St. Louis, MO to the late Charles R. McMullen, Anna Garry, and step-father, James Walsh, who raised her since the age of 4. Mickey married the love of her life, Frank Potts, on October 9th, 1954 and shared 62 years of marriage. She retired from the Naval Investigative Services as Administrative Support. She was a devout Catholic and enjoyed attending services at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. She enjoying sewing, camping, singing, and spending time with her daughters and grandchildren. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to many. For all that Mickey was, she is, and will forever more be, she will be loved and missed dearly. Mickey is predeceased by her husband Frank W. Potts, her parents, and four brothers; Charles McMullen Jr., Robert McMullen, Richard McMullen, and Fr. James Garry McMullen, SJ; and son-in-law, Billy Joe Johnson. She is survived by her daughters, Deborah Johnson of Summerville, Cindy (Gary) Kelley of Goose Creek; granddaughters Jessica (Michael) Linardi of San Antonio TX and Shelley Johnson (Larry Schweitzer) of Coral Springs, FL; great-grand sons, Jack and Dash Goldberg; great-granddaughter Makenzey Schweitzer; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. A visitation will be held, Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at 1:00 PM, at McALISTER SMITH FUNERAL HOME, GOOSE CREEK CHAPEL. A service will be held immediately following at the funeral home.
