Edward Macy Obituary

MACY, Edward Edward B. Macy, Kemo , 88, husband of Virginia M. Macy, of Mt. Pleasant died August 23, 2006 at his home surrounded by his family. Mr. Macy was born on January 7, 1918 in Grand Rapids, Michigan to Frank and Mary (Wiktorowski) Maciejewski. He was a member of the US Army Air Corps and a Catholic War Veteran. A Jack-of-all-Trades, he was retired from working in construction, sales, service and repair. Mr. Macy was also an avid golf enthusiast. Kemo's wit will be sorely missed by four generations of family. He is survived by Virginia, his wife of 68 years; a son, Michael E. Macy of Mt. Pleasant; three daughters, Diane M. Macy of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Mary Kay (Ray) Cronemiller of Houston Texas and Margaret L. (Anthony) Sartori of Livonia, Michigan; ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by ten brothers and sisters. He was a member of Christ Our King Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, it is requested that memorials be made to Christ Our King Senior Ministries, 1122 Russell Drive, Mt. Pleasant, SC 29464. A memorial mass will be announced later. Dear Virginia and Family

It is with very heavy heaart that I have learned of Ed's death. I spoke to one of your son's. I could hear Ed's voice in him. A very fine man.
