"Mr Ed" was a welcome addition to fencing classes as was his sweet wife -- they were very generous with their time and energy, providing inspiration and direction to beginning fencers. It was absolutely thrilling when he fenced in the tournament a couple of years ago (agreeing to do so in order for the number of participants to be enough to allow more to qualify for national rankings) -- he still had such zip, finesse and talent! He is missed by the East Cooper fencing students and parents who had the pleasure and luck to know him.
