Eddie Harris Obituary

Eddie Craig Harris N. CHARLESTON - Eddie Craig Harris, 32, of North Charleston, the husband of Samantha Prater Harris, died Saturday, February 20, 2010, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Born December 6, 1977, in Pensacola, Florida, he was the son of Craig Harris and Joyce Herron. Eddie was employed as a warehouse associate with the Robert Bosch Corporation. He enjoyed playing his guitar and the game of chess. Eddie loved to work on cars especially old mustangs and was a big fan of the Dallas Cowboys. He is survived by his parents: Craig and Joyce; his wife, Samantha; two brothers, two sisters and many wonderful friends. The family will receive friends, from 1-3 p.m., on Thursday, February 25, at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home, 869 St. James Avenue, Goose Creek. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Mothers Against Drunk Driving, South Carolina Chapter, 810 Dutch Square Blvd., #211, Columbia, SC 29210 or www.madd.org/sc. Eddie was a very respectful, well-mannered man. He was always willing to lend a hand. He will be missed by all of us who knew him. RIP Eddie.
