Mrs. Reed is one of the legendary teachers at St Stephen Elementary, she was stern, but fair. She has left a stamp on the lives of many of her students, mines especially. I pray that her love will continue to comfort you guys and that you will find peace in her rest.

Great teachers want to see their students succeed and are honored to be their mentor. Back in the day, you probably rolled your eyes at that one teacher who was who was tough on you, who made you act right and do better. Now, you understand the bigger lessons she was trying to teach you. Yes, I had that one St. Stephen Elementary School teacher who made an impact on my life - Mrs. Earnestine R. Reed.

Mrs. Reed, you didn't just teach, you prepared us for the road ahead, thus paving the way for more great teachers and administrators
from our 5th grade class: Sonya Addison Stewart, Herbie Andrews, Lisa Ravenell Irvin, Tracey Thompson Wilson, Winston Williams, and the late Rev. William Wrighten, just to name a few.

Thank you for everything. Now, take your rest. We will see you in the morning. ❤

Tony & Keith, you and your families are in God's hands. May you be comforted, strengthened, and kept in God's grace and mercy today and every day. ❤
