E. Evans Obituary

EVANS, SR., E. Randall JOHNSONVILLE, SC - E. Randall Evans, Sr., died Saturday, June 11, 2005. Mr. Evans was born in Hemingway, SC, a son of Irene White Evans and the late Thomas A. Evans, Sr. He was a Senior Engineer for Wellman Industries, a member of the Johnsonville First Baptist Church, a member of the New Hope Mens Fellowship and was a graduate of Johnsonville High School. Surviving are his wife, Gwen Meredith Evans of the home; sons, Eddie Randall "Randy" (Christy H.) Evans, Jr., and Chris M. Evans, both of Johnsonville; mother, Irene W. Evans of Johnsonville; granddaughter, Laney Evans of Johnsonville; brother, Tommy (Mary Etta) Evans of Johnsonville; sister, Janet E. (John) Parsons of Johnsonville. Mr. Evans was pre-deceased by his father, Thomas A. Evans, Sr.; sister, Libby Cox and a nephew. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday, June 15, 2005, in the Johnsonville First Baptist Church. Burial, directed by MORRIS FUNERAL HOME OF HEMINGWAY, will be in the Old Johnsonville Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 9 p.m., Tuesday, June 14, 2005, and other times at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Evans, 216 W. Marion St., Johnsonville, SC.
