This isn't My Uncle Dwayne's actual obituary. He has another one that's longer and very beautiful from a different outlet! Thank you!

Since Mr Rice had been so helpful to me when the car ran into to my house, I am so ever grateful for his acts of service. He came to my house immediately the next morning to board up the house and start repairs. He was a thoughtful person and he will always be remembered by his many acts of service in my time of need.

What a vague obit!
You deserved a better one.
Especially having such a large family.
Can't imagine what they're feeling.
Prayers to the living..
Through good and bad you were always by my side.
In the latter years we finally became friends with no strings.
I miss talking to you every day.
I miss your guidance.
I miss your wisdom.
I even miss the ugly sides!
I tried hard , so hard but I guess God had other plans for you.
Guess you were needed up there.
So glad you got your hair cut!
You were so proud when you showed up at my house right after!
I know how hard you were trying and I know how you were ready to get back to D.
You always told me God is 1000 chess moves ahead.
He had/has plans for you.
I will love you always.
I'm not even gonna say RIP.
I'm saying live it up on the other side!
See your loved ones!
Remember my Grandmother always told us you don't need this tired used up body anymore. In this case the grass is greener on the other side.
I love you.
The 1 thing you didn't want to happen is going to happen.
Goodbye, until we see each other again.
I know your now my guardian angel as you protected me in life...
I love some of the comments thus far and some aren't even family!
You always said you can pick your friends but not your family.
So glad I got to say goodbye to you.
So glad I was a part of your journey especially in these last few months when no one else was there.
You would have done the same for me.
You have done the same for me.
See ya on the other side D!
Love always to the fullest as you know..

Dwayne served as a contractor for dozens and dozens of renovation projects over more than twenty years for me. He was the "go to" guy during the time I served at James Island Presbyterian Church. Painting, repairing, even climbing to the top of the chancel area of the sanctuary, once, to secure a hanging cross. He also worked on numerous home repair projects on my house. Always quick to respond to a call. Always on time when we were scheduled to meet. Always helpful. So sorry for this loss.

At a loss for words. My Uncle Dwayne was such a wonderful person. We definitely lost a great man! He was my rock during my divorce and would do anything for anyone. The last conversation we shared was over 8 hours long. He gave me words of wisdom that I will forever be grateful for. His funny personality and giving heart will always be remembered and cherished. Now he can be with grandma (his mom) and my cousin Jeremy (his son). I love you Uncle Dwayne! Please watch over us all! Love your niece Chrissy (aka Bonus)
