Mitchells: Doug will be missed by many people you have never met. I went to school with him in Mendon and lived nearby for a lot of years. He was a very good friend of my dad who lived in Barnwell, S.C. and dad always loved to talk with him. He will be missed but not forgotten. We have you in our thoughts and prayers. Diane, Whatever lies down the road, remember you are not alone. We love you and are there for you at this sad time. Doug was a good man, who cared for everyone he met. I believe he never knew a stranger but called them friend. I value the time I spent with Doug for it enriched my own life. May you find peace in knowing he lived life to the fullest and had a good wife like you to love him. Love, Nancy and Joe

Mitchell Family,
Those we love don't go away,
They walk beside us every day,
Unseen, unheard, but always near,
Still loved,
Still missed
And very dear.

DA and Chad - Mitch has always been spoken of with fond memories in the Spealman family. From being on Bill and Mary's construction crew "way back when" to being Tom's first "cool" boss at All Phase where your dad gave him a job that turned into a lifetime career.
I will be passing the service information on to Mary and Tom. Our family sends prayers to you both in this difficult time.

Doug, we're keeping you in our thoughts and prayers at this difficult time. I didn't know your father, but he must have been pretty special to have a son like you. You can take great pride in living your life and sharing it as you do with all of us...leaving that little sparkle...and a glimpse of your family through you. You've let us see that you had love in your life and accepted it...and were grateful for it. From all of us who know you and love you.....peace be unto you and yours.
