ECKSTROM, Dorthy Dorothy V. Eckstrom, 79, of Summerville, wife of Kenneth Eckstrom, died Saturday, June 30, 2007 at Trident Medical Center. All services will be private. Mrs. Eckstrom was born August 27, 1927, in Pittsburgh, PA, daughter of the late Elmer Speakman and Ida Crisman Speakman. Mrs. Eckstrom graduated from Westinghouse High School in Pittsburgh, PA. She was a homemaker and of Methodist Faith. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cancer Support Group, c/o Father Kennedy, 105 Driftwood Drive, Bonneau, SC 29431. Survivors including her husband, are one son; Mike Eckstrom of Summerville, one brother; Donald Speakman of Glendora, CA, and three sisters; Jean Hester of California, PA, Betty Kilpatrick of Delmont, PA and Lois Duff of Ocala, FL.
