Dorothy B. Pelchy AUBURN, NY - Dorothy B. Pelchy, 86, of Auburn, NY and formerly of Marcellus, NY passed away peacefully at the home of her daughter, Saturday, April 4, 2015. Dorothy was a 1946 graduate of Auburn Central High. She was a homemaker and a communicant of St. Francis Xavier Church, Marcellus. Dorothy enjoyed collecting antiques and was an avid bingo player. She was predeceased by her husband of 56 years James A. Pelchy in 2011. Surviving are her children Pamela of Goose Creek, SC, Kenneth (Chris) of Camillus, NY and Christine (Brian) of Auburn, NY; three granddaughters Erica, Colleen and Alison; two great-granddaughters Aliyah and Ariana; three sisters Regina Mastropietro, Florence Purington and Marilyn Hunt; one brother David Bochenek; several nieces and nephews. A memorial funeral Mass will be celebrated 10am Friday, April 10, 2015 in St. Francis Xavier Church. The Rite of Committal and burial will follow at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Marcellus.
