Dear Tom, Bill, Bob, Mary, and McTighe and Prelack families-
Kathy, John, Tom and I were very saddened to hear the news of your mother´s death. She was the last of our family´s appropriately dubbed "greatest generation," so we feel her loss is particularly profound.
On a personal level, Dot was my favorite aunt and I have cherished memories of Westwood and Cape weekends spent with her invariably at the center of all the fun; and I will never forget her special, Sunday morning, perfectly halved and sectioned grapefruit with center cherries. Those were the halcyon days.
I am attaching a photo of our Grandparents´ 50th wedding anniversary gathering taken in Southbridge in the mid 60´s with only Uncle Bob missing whom I surmise was the camera man. Look at the three glamorous ladies seated on the floor. Wowie!
Please accept our heartfelt condolences-
Dick and John McTighe
