Dorothy Jones
Cedar Hill - Dorothy Marie "Dot" Jones, age 98, passed away Dec. 2, 2025, in Cedar Hill, TN. Born on June 16, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Newton and Inez Gertrude Allen. She was preceded in death by her husband, Miles Robert Jones Jr. and survived by her children; Thomas Allen (Cheryl) Jones and Kathryn Jones (David) Dupree; 2 grandsons and 1 step grandson, and 3 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was be held on Sat, Dec. 6th at 3pm in the Dorchester Memory Gardens in Summerville, SC.

Dear Kathy and Thomas, My prayers and thoughts are with you during this season of joy, when it is difficult to feel joy after having lost one's dear mother. Miss Dot was such a wonderful neighbor to our family, especially helping my mom, Hilda Gillespie, take care of my dad for so many months. May your families be especially blessed in the New Year.
