Dorinda was a dear friend and longtime higher education colleague with whom I shared many fun memories, but also deep and insightful conversations. She welcomed everyone into her circle and those who took her up on the invitation are better off for it. I will miss her in the same way I miss Carol Noble - another SACRAO friend who had a bright and cheerful demeanor who was also smart as a whip and who was admired and loved well.

Sending love and prayers across the miles to family and friends of Dorinda aka "The Goddess".

Oh, I'm so sad to hear this! Dorinda brought so much light to the college and to the morale and comraderie among our staff. It has not been the same since her departure, and nothing will be the same now. Many, MANY hugs to the family. May Dorinda's Christmas pins twinkle forever.

Dorinda was involved for many years in the Southern Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Offices (SACRAO), and she served a term as president. She was delightfully humorous but delivered serious, thoughtful content. She welcomed friends and colleagues with open arms and made everyone around her feel better. She will be sorely missed.

My heartfelt condolences to Dorinda´s family. I know her death is a shock to her many friends. I was blessed to have Dorinda as a professional colleague and more significantly as a friend. Dorinda was an amazing person. Hilarious and fun, but ever so serious at the business at hand. She´s left us with many fond memories and fun stories.

I have been missing Dorinda for a long time. Dorinda was the sparkle and guide for us Seniors at the College of Charleston. She was the guiding light for the Crafts Fair during the Spoleto/ Piccolo Spoleto Festival. My husband, Bob, and I celebrate what a beautiful person Dorinda was, and we thank her for enriching our lives.
