Donnie Ray-You were an amazing person to know. Our family feels blessed to be called your friend. Your friendship was never ending. I'll never forget Uncle Donnie, as I called him. He helped teach me how to surf, many years ago by the Atlantic House. I still surf to this day. Riding in his Bugatti was a memory I'll always remember too. I lost touch with him over time, but he still played a part in my life. Surf on Uncle Donnie.

May God be with D-Ray's family at this time. He touched so many lives in so many ways... He always lived life to the fullest...And Folly Beach would not have been the same without him. You will be missed by so many people!

I'll always hold you in high regard as one of my longest and truest friends.

I am so sorry to hear of D-Ray's passing. We shared many good times! From sailing to antique car shopping, his thirst for new adventures and conquests was never ending. I will miss his stories, phone calls and visits. He was a wonderful man, and I'll miss him terribly.
