Donald Northrop Obituary

My sincere condolences to Don's family at this very difficult time.
I went to school with Don from Harbor thru NLHS. Even though we lost touch as I moved as well, we reconnected on Facebook for a few years. He was a nice man and will be missed.

We grieve with you on the death of your loved one and our shipmate and the SUBVETS have your family in our thoughts and prayers. There is no expiration date on the back of our dolphins and Don, who earned his 'fish' when he qualified on USS Thomas Jefferson SSBN/SSN 618, will always be remembered as a "Brother of the Phin"

So very sorry for your family's loss. I started kindergarten with him and we went straight thru to high school. We loss touch like so many of us after high school. We reconnected on Facebook a few years ago. So glad we did and also glad that I got to see his beautiful family. You were all blessed to have him in your lives and he was blessed to have you all. Continue all the great traditions you all made through the years. He will always be with you. Wish we could had met up one more time.

There are so many good memories that go way back; to be brought into the family in April 1964 has been a journey and a blessing. To be given three more “brothers”
in addition to my very own, it seemed at the time it was somewhat “ off balance!” Losing Donnie was not expected. He loved his Patti, his children, and his two brothers. He will be missed greatly by all. Donnie, may you rest now in the Lord’s presence.
