Donnie was my nephew. He obviously had the strong work ethic and family bonds us Leifelds grew up with. Sometimes life's ventures take family to the country's different parts, but though the distance they always remain close at heart. Gone too soon, Donnie, your hard word is done, your suffering is over, may you rest in the Peace and Glory of Heaven.

I will never forget Civics class.I will never forget our dinners and our nights at famous Joe's. Most of I will never forget our friendship relationship. I will miss you as if there was never any sun any more.

It is with tremendous sadness that I say “farewell” to my nephew, Donnie! I will always remember him as the very loyal, dependable and hard working son that he was for my brother Don. His love for family and friends was obvious. A young man with a BIG HEART!! There is no doubt that he will be missed. If our Good Lord needs someone to clean His fish, Donnie is the guy!!

I remember when you were kids when I would buy stone crab claws from you dad in the Air Harbor neighborhood before he opened his first store with the family working together.
Sissy, you have my family´s prayers. Hope to see you in the store sometime.

Donnie was my brother’s (Capt Don) right hand man and beloved son. I’m certain his parents and grandparents are welcoming him home to a joyful reunion. Rest in peace Donnie.

I've known donnie since high school lived in the same neighborhood air harbour he was a hard worker and kind hearted guy as long as I knew him. He would go to school then work at the market with capt don! A couple of years after high school I was introduced into the commercial fishery crabbing picking oysters and fishing offshore and it all started at capt dons . Thank you it's been good to me see you in heaven my friend!!!

I grew up with Donnie , as his sister, Sissy, was my BEST friend. Donnie was a sweet affectionate, teddy bear of a man , he was loved by all and will be truly missed . Rest Easy Donnie.
