Donald Blocker Obituary

BLOCKER, Donald Entered into eternal rest on Saturday, June 4, 2005, at a local hospital, Donald Joseph Joe Blocker. Residence, North Charleston, South Carolina. The relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Services in Gospel Light Baptist Church Monday morning, June 6, 2005, at eleven o'clock. Burial will follow in Carolina Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at J. HENRY STUHR, INC. GREENRIDGE ROAD CHAPEL this (Sunday) evening, June 5, 2005, between six and eight o'clock. Joe was born December 1, 1952 in Charleston, South Carolina, beloved son of the late Charles T. Bud Blocker, Sr. and Elizabeth Wiggins Blocker. He was a member of Ferndale Baptist Church. He is survived by one sister, Katherine Susie Blocker Brown and husband, Jim, of North Charleston, SC; three brothers, Paul J. Blocker and wife, Virginia, of Great Falls, SC, James Red Blocker of Goose Creek, SC, and Charles T. Blocker, Jr. and wife, Annette, of Goose Creek, SC; six nieces and nephews; eight great nieces and nephews; and one great-great nephew. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Disabilities Board of Charleston County, 995 Morrison Drive, Charleston, SC 29403. Visit our guestbook at www.charleston.net/deaths.

Susie- I feel I was blessed to have had Joe in my life. He was a kind and wonderful man who will be missed! You worked so hard to make sure Joe received the best care, fun holidays, and treats during difficult times. Joe definitely knew he was loved!!
