My prayers and condolences to Sue and Carl's family and friends. Carl was one of the happiest men I've ever met. I feel so blessed to have known him and his sweet wife Sue. He brought a ray of sunshine to each day and his bright personality touched everyone he met.
I'm sorry I missed the services but God transcends time so please be assured of my prayers now, especially with his birthday coming up. Love, prayers, and hugs to you, Sue.

I am so sorry for your loss of such a funny, witty, kind, compassionate gentleman. I worked with him his first time at Roper Rehab Hospital as his OT and am so happy to have met him in my lifetime. He was such a joy to be around, motivated to get better and always encouraged the other patients even with what he was going through. I was excited to see him the 2nd time even though for only a short while (not under the circumstances of course) - but at least I got to see that sweet smile and experience his humor one more time. My thought are with you and your family and hope as time goes along your heart will heal as the special memories will help get through it. With sympathy, Angie Langford

I missed church last Sunday, was out of town yesterday and only learned of Carl's transition to greater Glory this morning and regret that I cannot pay my final respects to him.
Professionally, I always enjoyed Carl's energy & ability to fit in humor along the way. ...don't know if he ever really "worked" since he always enjoyed his labors. As a friend, I appreciated his company, genuineness and love of hunting. ...uninhibited to give thanks to the Lord! Heyward

Sue: I know your heart aches. There is no doubt that losing a loved one is a pain that can't be described. Even though death is a part of life, your dreams of a shared existence with a man you loved have been halted. Please know that we are thinking of you and want you to know there will be brighter days down the road. Just keep thinking of how many times Carl made us laugh with his quick wit and great sense of humor. We love you and are happy to help you in any way we can.
