Diane Prediger Obituary

Diane Loraine Prediger LADSON - Diane Loraine Prediger, of Ladson, SC, entered to rest on Friday, April 9, 2021 at the age of 71. She was the oldest daughter of the late Willard H. Prediger and Loraine Regina Winschel Prediger Timmerman. She was born on February 17, 1950 in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. Diane worked with the State of New York's Department of Health for over 40 years. During the later years of employment, she was able to provide a fun, memory making getaway at Caroga Lake, where she enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, as well as the endless and beautiful view of nature. She later retired and moved to what would become her favorite warm spot on the map - Charleston, SC. She loved the warm weather, the no chance of snow, taking cruises, doing puzzles, listening to some easy music, and let's not forget, her love of dancing and the NY Giants. She was such a selfless person who always gave her whole heart and was concerned about the people in her life, not the things. She is survived by her children, Tracey Hatlee (Wayne) of Clifton Park, NY and Clifford Pfeiffer (Laura) of Ladson, SC; grandchildren, Karissa Freemire (Cody), Matthew Hatlee (Liz), Joseph Hatlee, Jacob Hatlee, and Julianna Hatlee. She is also survived by her sister, Theresa "Terry" Karlewicz (Don) and brother, Mark Prediger. She was predeceased by her parents, Willard H. Prediger and Loraine R. Winschel, daughter, Tammy Pallone, grandson, Joel Pallone, and brothers, Willard Prediger and Luke Timmerman. South Carolina services will be held on Thursday, April 15, 2021 from 5-7 pm at Simplicity located at 281 Treeland Drive, Suite C, Ladson, SC 29456. The family will also have a New York service, which will be held on Saturday, April 24, 2021 from 1- 3 at Catricala Funeral Home located at 1597 Route 9, Clifton Park, NY. In lieu of flowers, the family in encouraging donations to Our House, an organization that strives to help individuals with autism live productive and fun lives. Donations can be made by check to Our House, c/o St. Edward's Church, 569 Clifton Park Center Rd, Clifton Park, NY 12065. Please specify the donation is specific to "Our House" in the memo line.
