Dear Linda,
I will never forget this day. I remember where I was and what I was doing. Please know that I care and will always pray for you. Cherish the memories you have of Dennis and Teri.

Oh Linda! Has it really been 13 years already. Time passes so quickly yet moments like this sadly take us back to that day. I know a day doesn’t pass that you don’t remember your sweet baby boy. Sending you our love and hugs and prayers of comfort on this 13th anniversary. Love Katie and Bill.

Dennis and Teri,
Even though I had the chance to know you for quite some time, I feel like it just wasn't enough. I want to thank you both for making it a priority to be at our wedding. It meant more to Michael and I than words can express.
Dennis... I will never forget my wedding day when you said to me, "So, you're finally my sister-in-law!" and I said, "You're finally my brother-in-law!" Then you replied, "You know that means I can now pick on you!" I told you to "Bring it On!" It makes me sad that we will never get the chance to make anymore memories together as a family. Dennis, I never got the chance to thank you for helping to mold Michael into the loving and caring father and husband that he is today. You and Rody are his heroes and now I know why. Please don't worry about your mom or brother, I will take care of them. I love you and I will miss you always.
Teri... Everytime I saw you, you always put a smile on my face. Thank you for being one of the coolest and loudest sister-in-law ever. I loved that about you. No matter if you just met me or we've known each other for years, you always made me feel apart of the family and I thank you for that. Please know that I Love You and that I will miss you always.

How I miss you all ready. I wish I could have been there to say "goodbye" one last time. I never thought in a million years that you wouldn't be here. I know you would have understood, that I would have been there if I could have been. You were always there for Michael and I. All the parties, vacations and family events. How many wonderful, and funny memories I'll always have of you. You taught me to always defend myself and never let anyone mistreat me. Thank you for always trying to include me and for being patient when I got on your nerves. You made being the "middle" kid a little easier.I love you and will always miss you. I wish you could have gotten to know your newest niece Hannah. but at least Emma had the pleasure of meeting you. You will be talked about and remembered often. Happy birthday brother.(May 20th). I had the pleasure of knowing Teri and Dennis through the Goose Creek Rec. Dept. My husband coached Zach for 2 years, and Teri was the cheerleading coach. She is the one who introduced cheerleading to my son. She always took time to let him come over and hang out with them during practice. It was a blessing to know the both of them, and they will live on through the many many lives they touched not just in the Goose Creek Rec. Dept, but all of Goose Creek.

I met Dennis & Teri when they first moved to the area in the 90's, Dennis & I worked together for several years. I am deeply saddened to hear of this tragic loss over the week-end. I hurt so deeply for their children. The only family member I knew (outside of Teri & the children) was Dennis's father, but I wish to express my deepest heart felt condolences to all of their family members. I will keep you and the children in my prayers.

We would like to extend our condolences to the Lavery family. We went to Freeport High School with Dennis and had the pleasure of meeting Teri when they were living in Sarver, Pennsylvania several years ago. There are so many great memories of the two of them that we will carry on forever. You are all in our prayers!

Dennis was a wonderful friend in highschool, and I was pleasantly surprised when he took it upon himself to renew our friendship years later after we lost touch. I know that once dad passed that we all had to do our separate things and I know that you felt you just had to be there for the wedding. I am glad that even if it was for only a day that we had some time to talk. I wish that people knew how good of a brother you were to me and Sara. how even though you were older and had your friends and such that you never got angry when you had to have me tag along. or how you were willing to give up time in your life to be with us. You taught me how to play football, though i could never be as good as you Mr. Ironman. And how you and dad were the only men i wished i could be like. I am just sorry that the lord needed to the both of you and teri also. I know that you guys were always there even when we'd have spats. I wish I would have told you more that i loved you and was grateful to have had a brother like you. I hope you have found peace in knowing that you were a wonderful man dennis. you were everything that dad and mom raised us to be and i hope that i can be also. Your parents were so more than coaches; they were the “sports community”. Were every you saw Dennis, Terri was about four steps behind usually she was talking to a parent, but they were always together. They loved what they did, and in this life that is all you can ask for. You all will be in our thoughts and prayers.

To the family and children, May God Bless you in your time of sorrow. I really had a saddened heart when I heard of the sudden passing of Theresa and Dennis. I am so very sorry for your precious losses and only hope that time and memories will make the grieving and loss easier for you. I did not know Dennis but I met Theresa and Zachary where I work at Dr. Gore's office right behind the family home. She first came to see us when she suffered a fall and we had to fix her teeth. Oh !! how nice it all turned out. I talked with her so many times and found her to be so funny and so very proud of her children. I am also a proud mom and we talked alot about ball and tournaments as my daughter plays also. She and her husband as she explained were so proud of Zach. Everytime she came to the office we always talked about her kids. I only hope you children will have the strength to carry on each of your dreams. With God's help and your parents wonderful memories hopefully it will continue to give your strength. Just remember they will always be watching you from the utmost highest place. I hope Zach you will be able to carry on with your ball as you have such a special gift. Your mom and dad will always be with you,, just in a different way. Always hold on to knowing how much they loved you. I will pray that the healing and sadness of this terrible accident and loss will get more bearable each and everyday. Once again I am so very sorry for the loss of your loved ones. I know you will continue to have lots of support from family and friends. Hang on to those wonderful memories and smiles.
